Katie’s Bar, named after our retired 80 year old barmaid, offers a warm welcome whether you are calling in to relax in front of the wood burning stove.
Sample the wares of our well stocked bar or wanting a more informal surrounding for lunch or dinner after a day’s activity on Islay.
Our bar has a selection of all Islay’s famous whisky, Islay Ales, local gins, and much more.
There is direct access to our beautiful private gardens from The Restaurant where guests can unwind outside.
Or a take relaxing stroll through Bridgend Woods which is a mere two-minute walk from the hotel.
A stay at the Hotel also gives you access to Islay Estates’ famously fertile trout fishing.
Boats can be reserved on several lochs, or if you would like some bank fishing, this can be arranged at favourable rates. Your trout can even be cooked in the hotel for you. More information can be found here.
